CONGRESSMEN POMEROY TOURS HILTON GARDEN INN CONSTRUCTION SITE

Grand Forks, North Dakota, August 29, 2002 - General Manager Douglas
DeMars gave Congressmen Earl Pomeroy a personal tour of the construction
site. The 100-unit Hilton Garden Inn Grand Forks / UND is the newest
addition to the UND Tech Park. Congressmen Pomeroy said he is looking
forward to the opportunity to stay at the Hilton Garden Inn once it
opens. The opening date is scheduled for December 2002.

The attached photo shows Congressmen Earl Pomeroy, a UND alumnus (on
right) and General Manager Douglas DeMars in front of the entrance of
the hotel. Once complete, the signature glass-walled pavilion will
contain a 62-seat restaurant, lounge, comfortable lobby seating around a
fireplace and the registration desk.

The Hilton Garden Inn Grand Forks / UND features 2,900 sq. ft. of
flexible meeting space, an indoor swimming pool that opens at 5 am for
guest convenience, a fitness area, 24-hour business center and guest
rooms equipped with a spacious work desk, ergonomic chair, and free
high-speed Internet access.
